Activities available:
Climb to the top of the Ecotricity working wind turbine. This is the only wind turbine in the world that members of the public can climb. It has a purpose built viewing gallery, and there will be fully guided tours. Health and safety restrictions apply. Minimum age of seven years old, minimum height of 1.2m. The EcoTech Centre also has a cafe, shop, exhibition area and organically certified garden and welcomes visitors throughout the year.

Activities available:
On Saturday 20 June RES is offering tours of Beaufort Court. Visitors will get the chance to visit a world first in eco-friendly office design and see renewable energy generation in action, including the famous M25 wind turbine. They will also be able to see how the much-loved historical 1930s buildings have been transformed into a pioneering example of sustainable design.
Attractions on 20 June will include:
Guided tours along the 'Energy Trail' to learn about clean, green energy.
Visit the wind turbine and find out how it works.
Discover the history of the Egg Farm and the Ovaltine connection.
Please note there is no parking on site. Please use public transport where possible.
Beaufort Court and the Energy Trail tour route are fully accessible for wheelchairs and those who prefer not to use steps. Disabled access toilet facilities are available.
Admission is free we will be raising money for our designated local and national charities through voluntary donations on the day.

Introductory Public Exhibitions are being held for the Nant Y Moch Wind Farm Project. The development site is in an area of land identified by the Welsh Assembly Government as one of the seven strategic search areas suitable for the delivery of large scale wind energy generation. This project, in Strategic Search Area D (SSA D) and will support the UK's climate change agenda, contribute to Wales' renewable energy supply targets for 2010 and 2020 and ensure the future security of our electricity supply.
